Tom Cruise opens up to Oprah
Tom Cruise opened up to Oprah Winfrey during the low part of his interview with the old World chat establish queen — due to air Fri — and revealed he infamously jumped on her couch in 2005 because he was so in love with his then lady friend (now wife) Katie Holmes and couldn’t contain himself.
Winfrey, herself, confessed the incident took her by surprise.
“When we finished that show with you jumping up on the sofa, I was like, ‘Thigh-slapper. What was that?’” she tells the Top Gun star in an interview which took home in his Telluride, Colo., nursing home. “I had no mind it was expiration to turn into an international hubbub, as I’m sure you did not either.
